Hello everyone, we are back with our last and final instalment of the Acacia Brinley breakdown. If you haven’t read my part one, that can be found here! To clear some things up, Acacia Brinley is what she went as online. Her real name is Acacia Brinley Clark, then after marriage, Acacia Brinley Kersey. I will still refer to her as Acacia Brinley but that may get confusing with the introduction of her first daughter.

Acacia and Jairus
We left Acacia off near the end of her teenage years, around the ages of 16–17. During this time, she was hanging out at Warped Tour (a popular pop-punk/post-punk music festival), rubbing elbows with some bands like 5 Seconds of Summer. This is where she meets Jairus, the man who would become her future husband and the father to her three children: Brinley, Rosemary, and Calliope.
The timeline is very muddled here as Jairus was actually engaged to a woman named Olivia. For some reason, I can’t find a single thing about their relationship or who this woman is besides working on a cruise (we’ll get back to that) but what is important here is that Jairus was in a band called Alive Like Me and he met Acacia when she was 17 and he was 23 (about to turn 24). Oh, also Olivia apparently tweeted the 1975 lyrics “but she can’t be what you need if she’s 17” shortly after they broke up so yeah, looks like Acacia was “the other woman” which split Jairus and Olivia up.
Though the two deny dating before she turned 18, that is pretty implausible as they were seen kissing, holding hands, posting photos together, etc.
In 2015, they celebrated Acacia’s 18th birthday and after a short time, moved in together and announced they were pregnant with their first daughter Brinley. Acacia was pregnant at 18 and had Brinley at 19, Jairus was 25 when they announced the pregnancy. So then it was bye bye soft grunge, and hello new crunchy granola mom!
Acacia as a mother — warnings here for child abuse and neglect
At first, fans and haters seemed to agree that she was a great mom. They saw Brinley as a positive thing in her life, something that would finally give her life meaning. One year after Brinley was born, Acacia gave birth again to a daughter named Rosemary. This is where fans began seeing issues in Acacia’s parenting.
Rosemary (aka Rosie) was born with alagille syndrome, which is defined by Hopkins Medicine as, “an inherited condition in which bile builds up in the liver because there are too few bile ducts to drain the bile.” Not only does it affect the liver, but it can cause heart problems as well, which Rosie had.
People began theorizing that Acacia had obvious favouritism towards her older daughter, Brinley. Acacia claimed it hurt her back to carry Rosie on a back harness, but was fine with carrying Brinley. Acacia claimed that Rosie, an infant, preferred to keep her nails long, which is the excuse she used as to why she never cut Rosie’s nails.
While on a hike in cool weather, Brinley was seen wearing appropriate attire for clothes, but Acacia had her sick child in nothing more than a onsie. When asked why she was not dressed appropriately, Acacia says she rips off her socks so there’s no point in getting her to wear them. She was also criticized for always having Brinley’s hair brushed while Rosie’s was tangled. Acacia would later admit to just shaving Rosie’s head from time to time as brushing was too difficult.
In 2020, Acacia announced that Rosie will be needing open-heart surgery. Before her hospital stay, Rosie was 11 pounds at 1.5 years old. Warning, this image may be shocking: pre-hospital stay. After being in the hospital, Rosie went up to a healthy weight for a girl her age.
Shortly after her heart surgery, the family went on a trip into the mountains. Keep in mind this is during covid, too. So you have a young girl, who just had open-heart surgery, who is immune compromised, travelling without a coat. People also criticized her for having Rosie wear a dirty feeding tube, however I can’t find any specific evidence of this.
She would also let Rosie just lay around with no support or supervision, which lead to Rosie being stepped on by their dog while Acacia was live streaming.

Acacia can’t be racist! She has a black sister! — Warning for racism and use of anti-black slurs
Now that Acacia was in the spotlight again for her apparent mistreatment of Rosie, people online began looking back on past behaviour that seemed to fly below the radar up until now. Old racist tweets were found such as here, here, here, and here.
She also had extremely racist instagram posts such as this, this, and this. Neither of which were deleted until she began getting called out.
When black creators back in 2012–2014 would call her out, her and her fans alike would bring up that she has an adopted black sister so she can’t be racist!!!
In 2020, Acacia finally acknowledged and apologized for her past use of the N slur by tweeting: “Many years ago, I said a racial slur. More than once. I’m sorry that I did and I’m sorry I cannot change that I did. Trust me, I wish I could. I’m sorry. I am beyond remorseful. I will continue to do all I can to show my true beliefs and that I support the black community.” She only apologized after being properly called out and the tweet has since been deleted.
Acacia’s father — the accusations persist — warning for pedophilia and overall just disgusting content
In my pervious post, I mentioned how Acacia’s father, Richard Clark, was known for threatening anyone who criticized him or Acacia.
Girls started coming forward with evidence that her dad had behaved inappropriately towards them as minors. Despite this, her father was still part of her life and had close contact with her children. However, I do not know if this is still the case.
Former models who worked with him from the age of 14–16 began calling him out for his inappropriate behaviour both on and offset, such as former model, Irene.
Richard’s oldest child, Peyton, who is Acacia’s older brother, began having exes calling out Richard for flirting with them while dating his son. Brittini Pristine, a former girlfriend of Peyton’s, made a series on TikTok describing what happened between her and Richard Clark. A breakdown thread can be found here. Richard then threatened her after she leaked more texts: here, and here.
After this, Acacia’s mom divorced Richard but again, I am unsure if he still has contact with Acacia or her children.
In 2016, Richard Clark was apparently arrested for possession of CSAM and assault on a police officer. A user on the lolcow forum leaked the arrest record here but I cannot verify if it is real. It is apparently public record.
When Acacia left the internet for good this time (before her return to the internet)
Now, these are more minor scandals in my book. Depop scams (selling clothes, taking the money, never sending them). She also stole the work from smaller creator, Ash Levi, and sold it as her own, then refused to give refunds. Ash’s video can be seen here.
At this time, Acacia had decided to no longer show her children on her channel (Brinley, Rosie, and their new son Calliope (which was also a minor scandal as people said they felt bad for Jairus because he “clearly hated the name!!” but no offence, I don’t care about a guy who cheats on his fiancee with a 17 year old)).
Jairus had quit music and began selling couches on facebook marketplace for a living. I mean a lot of couches. Dude how many couches do you have?
Ashamed and broken down, Acacia decided to swear off the internet for good, the only thing she really knew. She was done. Never to be seen again…. until.
Acacia and Jairus Divorce — Warning for sexual assault
Throughout their relationship, Jairus has been accused of cheating. All the way back in 2015, users on tumblr who had interactions with him stated he was a known cheater. Then in 2019, a user on twitter also called him out for past behaviour such as willingly giving girls STD’s.
Acacia never acknowledged this.
Recently (like the past month), a user on twitter exposed him for cheating. He apparently mentioned his wife but never discussed his children. She then admitted to sleeping with him but claimed it was all consensual. Closer image of him in her bed and photo of the tattoos lining up.
However, Jairus states that this was rape, as he was too intoxicated to consent. The user who originally posted these screenshots then went on discord and apologized for spreading any rumours and that accusations of sexual assault should be taken seriously.
I’m not going to speculate on what happened, these are just what has been presented. I believe we should take all accusations of assault seriously and it isn’t up to me to go more into detail then what I believe is necessary.
Shortly after this, Acacia returned to the internet with evidence that she refunded everyone she stole from and though the divorce has not been confirmed, when she posted on tiktok, she pretty clearly confirmed it here.
Acacia has still decided to no longer post her children’s photos online and when asked where her children are, she simply replied: “Safe with me.”
Some people take this as an accusation towards Jairus, that perhaps he behaved in a certain way or did something towards the children that made the couple end in divorce. It could also just be her confirming the kids are currently with her and they’re fine, rather than something accusatory.
My Thoughts
Acacia Brinley is a hard figure for me to understand. Considering her family dynamic, especially her father, and the fact that she had unrestricted internet access at a young age could not have been good for her. Time and time again, Acacia is shown to have no sense of personal identity, rather, changing her identity with what’s popular or what her boyfriends want. She was pregnant and married to a grown man by the time she was 18, owning no work experience besides being online.
Her history of self harm and her inability to take criticism shows her to be a fragile person.
HOWEVER, this does not excuse any of her behaviour. She has still hurt so many people with her racism and scams. She has been shown to neglect her children and animals.
She is definitely a complicated person, through and through, and I can only hope this recent return to the internet marks a change in her behaviour once and for all.
In conclusion, she is both a villain and a victim. Maybe it was her past as a victim to cyberbullying and harassment that led her to be the villain she is known as today. Maybe this girl, who was moved around constantly, never having a place of her own, became angry and bitter with the world and projected that onto others. I can’t say for sure, all I know is that the internet was cruel to her, and she became cruel herself.
